Andrew Enkelman was approached by The Truck Whisperer to establish, by testing, what effect the Truck Whisperer product had on the handling characteristics, in particular the effect on certain vehicle control responses. The product appears to significantly enhance the control proficiency by the driver of his vehicle and hence improvement in general vehicle safety.

Based on his experience in the investigation of vibrations in the light and heavy vehicles which negatively affected the comfort and safety of these trucks and had been endured by drivers for many years, prompted him to undertake basic confirmatory testing, albeit with some scepticism.

Truck manufacturers, the Federal Office of Road Safety and private companies have over the years attempted to isolate the sources of the undesirable handling characteristics, but with minor improvements only.

The initial testing by Mr Enkelman revealed significant changes in certain control responses of one particular heavy vehicle and these initial tests were followed up by full vibration analysis testing of a heavy truck before and after The Truck Whisperer product was introduced into the vehicle. The second series of the tests were carried out in accordance with an existing Australian and International Standard.

Being a holder of an Articulated Heavy Vehicle Licence, Mr Enkelman performed all tests as the driver and the results were recorded electronically. They were subsequently evaluated in accordance with the Australian Standard and proved conclusively that The Truck Whisperer product significantly improved the handling characteristics of the subject truck, hence improving driving proficiency and vehicle safety.

Testing carried out by A Enkelman & Associates Pty Ltd have shown significant increases in the ease of driveability of the vehicle, its handling capabilities, steering response, and driver and passenger comfort levels.

THE END RESULT: is a safer operating environment for the driver and an increase in the durability and the life expectancy of the vehicle and its components.
