Ken's Story
In 1986 Ken was driving a brand-new International S-Line between Melbourne and Sydney, and it wouldn't hold a straight line. The dealership did 27 wheel alignments and replaced pumps, hoses and steering boxes, then told him the truck met the manufacturer's specifications. † He found that steering problems in trucks aren't caused by wear and tear. In his experience they're built into the vehicles.
He refused to accept 'that's just how trucks are' and built the Advanced Steering Management System, ASMS, to correct them. He started as a truck driver, worked across mechanical trades and aviation, and has spent his career on this one problem.
He's known across the industry as 'The Truck Whisperer'.
