Truck Steering Correction in Tamworth & Regional NSW
Truck steering problems?
Get to the cause.
If your truck wanders across the road, pulls to one side, vibrates through the steering wheel or is difficult to keep straight, it's worth investigating the cause.
Truck Whisperer specialises in steering correction for heavy vehicles. Our approach focuses on identifying and correcting underlying steering problems, rather than assuming a standard wheel alignment will solve everything.
For operators in Tamworth and regional New South Wales, contact our local operator to discuss the symptoms you're experiencing and the best way to arrange an assessment.
Common Truck Steering Problems
Steering issues can make a truck harder to control and more tiring to drive.
Depending on the vehicle and the underlying fault, symptoms may include:
Steering wander: Constantly correcting the steering to keep the truck on course.
Pulling to one side: The truck doesn't track straight as expected.
Steering vibration: Unwanted vibration or movement through the steering wheel.
Heavy or inconsistent steering: Steering that feels unusually hard or unpredictable.
Uneven steer-tyre wear: A possible sign that the vehicle needs further investigation.
These symptoms can have different causes.
A proper assessment is needed to determine what is happening with your vehicle.
Specialist Heavy Vehicle Steering Correction
Truck Whisperer's approach focuses on the underlying causes of steering problems.
Using the Advanced Steering Management System (ASMS), the aim is to address steering behaviour that may not be resolved by a conventional alignment alone.
Every vehicle is different. Contact us to discuss your truck's symptoms and whether this service is appropriate for your situation.

Steering issues finally sorted after all those years. Excellent result - they fixed what others couldn't. Good people to deal with!

After he worked on her we went for a test drive. I had not moved more than about 20 metres before noticing the different feel in the steering. I felt more of a direct connection with the wheels. On the drive around the same route we had taken only a couple of hours earlier, the improvement was nothing short of amazing. No wandering, or rolling, or ‘diving’ when I left the bitumen. Under steer was noticeably reduced and she held straight and true through dips. Happy days!
